Have you had an “aha moment” that changed your business?
If you’re unsure, an “aha moment” is defined as: a moment of sudden realization, inspiration, insight, recognition or comprehension (source: Merriam-Webster).
In other words, the proverbial lightbulb comes on.
My “aha moment” occurred when I was preparing to teach my first marketing workshop in 2018.
I wanted to start with a topic that would attract the most attendees, so I sent a survey to my email list.
I received a variety of responses about their marketing challenges:
- “I’m too busy running my business to do marketing.”
- “I’m overwhelmed by all of the marketing options.”
- “I don’t know how much to spend on marketing.”
- “I can’t figure out what is working and what isn’t.”
- “Nothing I’ve tried has worked and I’ve given up on marketing.”
Although the challenges were across the board, I realized there was one topic that would address all of them: a marketing plan.
I had created more marketing plans than I could count, but had never thought about teaching my process to others…after all, it’s not rocket science.
After chewing on this for a few days, I realized how many business owners I could help and introduced my first workshop: How To Create A Kick Butt Marketing Plan.
When it sold out, I knew I had hit the nail on the head.
Since then, it has become my signature workshop and first online course.
This was the start of my journey to help clients and business owners have “aha moments.”
If your business needs an “aha moment,” send me an email and let me know your biggest marketing challenge.
